A Sculpted Dining Environment
Chattanooga Restaurant is conceived as a contemporary hospitality interior shaped by the relationship between space, light, and custom metalwork. The design transforms the existing open volume into a warm and immersive dining environment, balancing visual impact with clear circulation and an efficient restaurant layout.

A Ceiling in Motion
The defining feature of the project is a collection of suspended metal chandeliers that hang at varying heights throughout the dining and bar areas. Composed of layered, perforated surfaces, the chandeliers form an expressive overhead landscape that introduces rhythm, depth, and movement into the interior. Their changing scale and position help organize the open plan without relying on walls or permanent partitions.
Light, Shadow, and Material
As light passes through the perforated metal, the chandeliers cast subtle patterns of shadow and reflection across the surrounding surfaces. Their warm metallic finish complements the muted interior palette, integrated planting, and softly illuminated walls, creating an atmosphere that feels refined, intimate, and visually cohesive.
Design Through Fabrication
The chandeliers were developed as both lighting elements and architectural objects. Their form responds to fabrication, suspension, assembly, weight, and light transmission, allowing each component to be manufactured and installed as part of a coordinated system. Through this integration of design and fabrication, the ceiling becomes the project’s central spatial identity rather than a secondary decorative layer.
